This year's boys
lacrosse season saw the return of Coach Cody to the
field to help out in conditioning the Hillcrest High
School boys team. In addition, Coach Jason was
brought in to conduct a clinic over spring break.
Both coaches would like to express their gratitude
to the program for allowing them to be a small part
of the Hillcrest season. No one will ever be able to
question whether these young men know how to work
hard! Check back for news of signings! |

Sisters Von and Day
McKenzie (left and right) of Woodmont High School
signed their letters of intent to play lacrosse for
Erskine College next season. Von and Day have been
fixtures at our women's league and as members of the
Carolina Revolution. We know how passionate you both

have set such great examples for us all! It is a joy
for us to watch you play! |

Brianna Hoffman (seated
center) of Hillcrest High School signed her letter
of intent to play lacrosse for Converse College
starting in 2010! As the first girl that Coach Eliza
took on as a private student in South Carolina, we
could not be happier to see Brianna achieve her goal
of playing lacrosse in college. It's hard to believe
that such a short time ago we were going over roll
dodges at the local elementary school. Brianna is
proof that with hard work, everything is possible!
We'll be cheering you on Bri! |

When Erskine plays Converse, know that we are
cheering for everyone! We are so proud of you
Chelsea! |

at every game we can! |

Turkey...Dressing...Lacrosse? Of course! The
Carolina Revolution traveled to compete in the
Wishbone Championships held in Orlando, Florida just
after Thanksgiving. As the final event on this
season's calendar, it gave us a chance to meet other
coaches and teams from across the region. Everyone
had a great time and played to the best of their
ability! We could not have been more proud to have
such a wonderful group of young ladies showcase the
best of what South Carolina can put on the field! |

players to opposite teams to complete their rosters)
and the White team came away with the best record of
the event! This was a great day of lacrosse and a
fantastic chance to show everyone what the
Revolution is all about! |

Spartanburg, SC recently
added boys and girls lacrosse to several local high

able to keep pace, LAXINSTITUTE Lacrosse
brought an introductory clinic to the area. The boys

We are eager to see how next season goes for these
young men! Welcome to the lacrosse family! |

LAXINSTITUTE
Lacrosse put out the call and you responded!
We organized the first true all ages women's league
in South Carolina and what a response we got! Who
knew there were so many women's lacrosse players in
driving distance? Ladies of all levels from middle
school to post-collegiate came out to keep their
skills sharp, make new friends, and most of all
enjoy the game! We will continue to host these
events throughout the year as long as people keep
showing up! |

LAXINSTITUTE Lacrosse hosted the second
annual Start of Summer Lacrosse Clinic in
Greenville, SC. We once again turned up the heat
with great instruction, great weather, and great
participants! If you take anything away from this
clinic, remember to find that inner rage (per Coach

keep hydrated! You can count on this being a yearly
event so save the date for next year! |

On June 10 & 11, 2008,
girls from 3 states came together on the campus of
Tennessee Wesleyan College in Athens, TN for the

impressed with the level of talent that was present
and we look for great things to come from these
girls! This is an event that we will definitely be
repeating so look to mark it down on your calendar!

girls, the entire coaching staff, all of the

In addition to helping
her team earn the title of South Carolina Girls
Lacrosse State Champions, goalie Morgan A. Smith
from Riverside High School was awarded the honor of
being named Tournament MVP! Morgan is a great
example of working hard to achieve your goals. We
have been fortunate to work with Morgan for over two
seasons now and she dedicated a ton of effort and
energy to get to where she is now (even if it
involved a "Stupid Drill" or two). We are so proud
of Morgan and look forward to seeing her on the
field next season as she goes on to play for
Erskine. |

Who says when you
graduate you can't continue to play with your team?
We were there when Faith Bejester, Maranda Plana,
and Amber Lynn Smith all signed to play college
lacrosse at Tennessee Wesleyan. These teammates from
Woodmont High School made history by being a part of
Woodmont's inaugural team and did so again by being
the first girls to sign to play at the college level
from their high school. We expect them to take full
advantage of this great opportunity! |

70° on the lacrosse field!" |

Morgan A. Smith (center

Women's Lacrosse with Erskine College. We wouldn't have missed
Morgan's signing for the world. We have had the
pleasure of having Morgan as a student with

recognition of being the very first recruit to sign
with the newly formed Erskine Lacrosse Team! |
